More Than a Farm: A Living Laboratory for Specialty Coffee
We are VINKA, a specialty coffee farm and lab nestled alongside Ecuador's Podocarpus National Park. Founded by Dr. Mafer Cabrera (Ecology & Biodiversity) and Dr. Carlos Iñiguez (Natural Resources), university researchers & professors who chose to return to the land.
Here, where morning mist embraces the fertile Andes soil, we grow exceptional coffee by uniting ancestral wisdom with scientific precision.
Every step, from soil health to fermentation, is guided by rigorous research and respect for natural cycles. Our coffee is born from this union: tradition that breathes, science that guides, and quality you can taste in every cup.

The Legend of the Living Treasure
Legend tells that when the last Inca emperor fell, messengers hid his gold ransom in the Andes, marked by a mysterious stone mask. Generations searched for that treasure, digging into the earth, hoping to find riches.
But the real treasure was never buried. It was always here, in the soil that breathes, the water that flows, and the biodiversity that thrives.
At VINKA, we don't extract from the land. We regenerate it. Through syntropic agriculture, degraded pasture has become a thriving ecosystem where coffee grows alongside native trees, soil rich with microbial life, and the landscape strengthens with every season.
Every bean is an invitation to share this living treasure, one that blooms in the earth and awakens in every cup.
